Roman statuette of a rider-god, 1st-2nd century AD. Ex. Dover Museum Collection, UK. A bronze statuette of a male, naked except for a round cap with brim to the top of the head, bands of curly hair below. The body slightly twisted to the right, both hands extended, legs splayed to fit over figure of horse. Mounted on a custom made stand. Size; 80mm Including stand. Provenance: Ex. Private Collection of Michael Green, Tiverton region, collection formed between 1970's - 2012.
