A glass tear bottle, pale green in colour with flared mouth, long tapering neck with small body below a neck ring, rounded to the base. Accompanied by a hand written note. For a similar examples see: Auth, S. Ancient Glass at the Newark Museum from the Eugene Schaefer Collection, New Jersey, 1977, p. 211, ill. 404-406.   Ex. private collection: Owen Francis Glover, Dorset, UK; acquired in provincial auctions from older collections during the 1960's -1970's. An old victorian label accompanies this item.
