A rather appealing Roman bulbous, single handled, buff terracotta jug, probably used for pouring pouring oils or sauces. An interesting bulbous body tapering at the neck. Flat base.
Pottery was produced in enormous quantities in the Roman Empire, mostly used for utilitarian purposes.
