Early Bronze Age Drip Bowl, C. 3100 - 2900 BC

A well burnished Holy Land Early Bronze Age Dripping effect bowl with nibbles on the sides. The dripping effect has been created with red paint on the inside of the rim.

Background: These types of utilitarian items were commonly used storage vessels; mostly used for the storage of fruits or liquids.

Dimensions: Height: 12.2 cms.

Condition: Good overall condition. Some small chips to the rim.

Provenance: Ex Ancient & Oriental, acquired in 2014.
