Greek Daunian - Canosan Double Spouted Strainer

A double-spouted Canosan strainer with bulbous body and two vertical necks joined by a strap handle; the body with a painted black and red decoration in bands including running spirals, waves, guilloches and palmettes.

South Italic, Canosan, 5th Century BC.

Size: 16.9cm H.

Condition: Overall good condition. Some small surface damage and scratches.

Ex. High Wycombe Private Collection; UK, acquired between 2010-2015.
