A light green glazed faience composite amulet of a seated Goddess Isis nursing Horus on the throne.

This type of amulet is symbolic as Isis is often associated with the throne of Egypt. Her lap is symbolic of the Egyptian throne. The first throne that Horus sat on was that of his mother's.

Egypt, Late Dynastic Period, 664 BCE - 32BCE.

Good overall condition, small chip to the crown.

Size: 11mm x 0.7mm.Isis Amulet.

Ex. Private Collection, Said to have been from the Royal Collection Trust, acquired in the late 19th Century. Letter of promise accompanies this from owner.
