An early buffware Bronze Age looped Amphoriskos with globular body and funicular neck and rim. On the shoulder are two thick suspension loops. Good paintwork still remaining on the piece with traces of red paint.

Holy Land, Chalcolithic Period, ca. 4400 - 3300 BCE

Size: 9.8cm H.

Condition: Some loss of colour and paint. Chips to the rim.

Provenance: Ex. Ancient & Oriental Gallery; Acquired on the market in 2014.
