A pool-shaped unguentarium with a wide everted flat rim, standing on a flat base. Covered with rich iridescence. The shape of this unguentarium seems to be characteristic of Roman Egypt. The thick walls creating a durable container with a very small capacity. Ex. private collection =: Mary Pearman, (1909-1999); acquired in Egypt, 1936-1944. 84mm x 53mm.
